My dad just said that my armpits are disgusting, like r u fucking kidding me. “Girls are supposed to shave their armpits. Go walk around town and see what happens when people see that”. I’m sorry but they’re MY armpits, this is MY body and you have no right to tell me what I should do with it. It’s just hair, why does society have such a problem with it. Sure, people have preferences of what they think is attractive or not, and that’s completely fine. But you shouldn’t shame & insult people just because you don’t agree with their choices that concern their OWN body. Tbh, I usually shave my legs and armpits, because that’s what I like to do and that’s what makes me comfortable. But lately I haven’t felt the need to! It’s cold outside, I don’t wear tank tops and I’m basically covered up most of the time. And if you usually DON’T shave, that’s perfectly fine too! I think you’re all beautiful regardless and don’t you ever let anyone’s harsh words get to you, it’s YOUR body, it’s YOUR hair. Embrace it!
